Oaklands College

Historically the college had been with the incumbent managed print supplier for a number of contract terms. Following an extensive National Framework Tender Submission, which was centred around the “need to rationalise its fleet of MFPs with an aim to reduce printing, costs and to meet sustainability targets through the college sustainability policy”.

Dataquest were awarded the contract for all sites with the inclusion of 31 point-of-need devices with print management and security software, high volume Print Room devices as well as a high-quality 3D printing solution to aid students in the engineering courses.

The new equipment has provided significant cost savings and improved reliability around campus along with the accounting and reporting software enabling to college to accurately allocate costs to departments as well as using the data to help drive down printing and paper use, helping toward the environment and sustainability policy.

Since the successful Managed Print implementation, Dataquest has been selected to provision over 100 mobile devices and are helping the College with some large back-scanning projects to free up space and enhance data security and retention/compliance for the College.
